Another way to fix Metro app crash on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1

Most of the Users replied that previous solution was not working for some people. The problem was  that some computers did not grant access to some of the apps which lead to crash. This is another easy way to fix app crashes.  Follow the steps carefully and if you have got any doubts please mail at "wolvendarkcompany@gmail.com"

Step -1 Go to My Computer and click on C drive -->Properties-->Security

Step-2 Click on Edit

Step -3 Click on ADD button and type like this : "ALL APPLICATION PACKAGE"

            Click OK and Allow the shown settings

Step -3 Click on OK

If you want you can you can restart your computer and check whether it is working or not.

Fix Corrupted Pen-drive / Pen-drive cant be formatted / Pen-drive Unusable.

The following steps delete all the data’s inside the media. But it is the simplest and easiest way to fix the media.

Before we begin let me say the cause for this:

1) Most of the cases happens if you take out the media without safely removing.

2) While copying or transferring files you might have taken it out.

There are plenty of causes so I can’t mention all of the cause. This causes the pen-drive to be corrupted.

The problem is that while doing the above, the media’s partition might get deleted. This makes the device unusable etc.

The solution:

   1)      Connect pen-drive / USB to the computer.

   2)      Open Command Prompt as Administrator.

   3)      Then Type DISKPART

   4)      Type list volume.

   5)      * Select the volume by looking at the condition of each volume. Most probably the condition would be unhealthy and appears on the bottom of the list.

Example to select volume: “Select Volume 5”

*Be careful while selecting volume.

   6)      Type list partition.

   7)      If there is any partition delete it by typing the command

“Delete Partition Primary”

If there is no Partition we need to create it by typing the following commands

“Create Partition Primary”

   8)      Close the Command Prompt.

   9)      Click on safely remove device.

  10)   Plug in the device.

Crashing of Metro Apps on Windows 8 and 8.1

Most of the users mailed us ( wolvendarkcompany@gmail.com) that while opening their Metro apps such as Bing News, Bing Sports, Bing Weather, Health and Fitness etc it crashes. Many of them are waiting for the solution. So here is the solution. Our team members found out many ways to fix the crashing of apps.

Before we peak into the solution let me say the reason for apps to crash or apps to fail.

When you click on the app ( eg: Bing News) you can only see the icon of the app on a big screen and then directs you back to the start screen. This is because some of the files in your System are corrupted..Dont worry. We can fix this. Other bloggers say that you need to re-install windows 8 or windows 8.1 which is not practical. But for this you dont need any type of restoring.

It is recommended to check the following :

1)  Check whether the screen resolution is more than 1024* 768
2) Check whether User account settings are enabled.
3) Check the antivirus for any virus,worms,trojans etc.(Optional)


Steps to fix the crashing of apps on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1

1) Rum Command Prompt as Admin
2) Type the following without quotes
      " sfc / scannow"
3) The slash symbol ( / ) is also needed. Just type the Following.
4)Some text will be displayed
5)You have to wait for 5 - 10 Minutes.
6)After completing 100% it will instruct you to reboot the system.
7) Reboot your system and see the magic

Your apps will never crash because windows has detected corrupt files and fixed them or repaired them by itself. Dont get worried or scared by seeing the word corrupt. Because of that files only we had executed the commands on Command Prompt.
